Name: The One World Network of Schools (One World)
Field: Education, School development
Geographic Scope: One World is currently working with partners in five countries: Chile, India, Israel, Mexico, and South Africa
Mission: Create a global network of transformational, breakthrough schools that will be run by local, independent partner organizations.
The One World Network of Schools (One World) is a nonprofit organization that was launched in July 2013 by Aaron Brenner (founder of KIPP SHINE Prep), Mike Feinberg (co-founder of KIPP), and Sunita Arora (former Chief of Staff, KIPP Houston). Utilizing lessons learned by KIPP and other high-performing school networks in the United States, One World aims to create a global network by supporting the training and development of international school leaders, building organizational capacity to scale local school networks, and supporting the development of local school leadership institutes.
We believe that transformational schools (led by highly supported and developed leaders) will change the lives of children, prove the possible and build a better tomorrow across the world, regardless of context, culture or country.
